In partnership with CityServe of the Tri-Valley, our club has committed to helping seniors and other disadvantaged residents in Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore. This is a spring-cleaning event that will be limited to working on items outside their homes. It could include pruning bushes, raking leaves, cleaning gutters, washing windows, etc. It can be hard work, but the seniors are very appreciative of our efforts.
We need more volunteers to make this a successful event. It is open to Scouts and kids over age 12. Please signup below to participate:
June Community Service Opportunity
Pancake Breakfast, Benefit for Pleasanton Military Families - Saturday, June 1, 7 - 11AM, Delucchi Park, downtown Pleasanton
We are providing food and staffing the breakfast to support the Pleasanton Military Families Troop Packouts. This is a multi-organization event and runs in parallel with, and adjacent to, the weekly farmer's market.
We will need volunteers to set up and prepare fruit cups from 7-8 AM, then serve from, 8-11 AM.
